Sorcerers
The Wizard, the Witch, and The Warlock
By BoJenn
Let’s define our fears, shall we so that we can put you to rest before you tear up the page and throw it away. File 13 is growing each day and it needs to be cleansed. The only way to refresh yourself is to remove the fears. Trust yourself. Trust that your creator wants you to be the most intelligent person in the room. The only way to be successful is to trust and allow fears to wash away.
Let’s begin with Witchcraft 🧙🏼♂️. The study of the wise.
Witches – the most natural third, since “wizard, sorcerer, witch” carries the gendered and cultural balance.
Magicians – from magus (Persian priest, astrologer), with connotations of cosmic knowledge. Jesus Christ was a magician in control of the language and the power of words. He moved mountains with his ability to see and speak.
Enchanters/Enchantresses – emphasizes spell-casting and allure.
Warlocks – in Scottish tradition, often seen as oath-breakers or male witches. Seers – those who perceive beyond the veil, tied to prophecy.
Necromancers – if you want the darker side of the triad, calling spirits of the dead.
Etymologically:
Wizard = “wise-ard,” literally “the wise one.”
Sorcerer = from Old French sorcier and Latin sortiarius (“caster of lots, fate-reader”).
Witch = from Old English wicce/wicca, “shaper, seer, wise one.”
So the oldest and most balanced trio is: Wizard, Sorcerer, Witch.

Freedom in Spirituality
The freedom that comes from love-based spirituality is not the fragile kind that depends on rules or dogma—it is the freedom of the soul unburdened. It is the freedom to grow, to question, to doubt, and still remain embraced by the infinite. It is the freedom to see others not as threats or sinners, but as fellow travelers, each carrying their own light.
This freedom does not fear mistakes, because mistakes become lessons. It does not dread death, because death is but another step in the unfolding mystery. It does not clutch to false attachments, because it knows love is the only real foundation.
In this freedom, the soul is no longer bound by the narrow gate of fear but walks openly in the vast field of being—where divinity is not a judge on a throne, but the living pulse of compassion, creativity, and connection within us all.
