October 28

“Phoenix Degree”

October is the most mystical month of the year, and because of this, and it’s my birth month, I am excited to research and share with others some secrets about what makes it so special and unique, honestly exciting for many people.

Here’s a mystical and historical reading of October 28, drawn from astrology, numerology, and the older initiatory calendars that treated each day as a symbolic stage in the “ascent of the soul.”

🌞 1. Astrological Position

Sun: ~5–6° Scorpio Element: Water Ruling planets: Pluto and Mars

Where October 27 marks the descent into darkness, October 28 is the first stirring of light within that darkness—the moment when awareness begins to reorganize itself after the symbolic death.

It’s often called the “Phoenix Degree” in esoteric astrology: the ashes are still warm, but the new form is sensed. The tone of the day is testing and revelation—secrets begin to surface, motives are purified.

🜃 2. Numerological Pattern

October 28 → 10 + 28 = 38 → 3 + 8 = 11.

11 is a master number representing illumination, intuition, and the bridge between realms. In mystical systems, 11 is the gateway number—two pillars standing on either side of the veil. Thus, 10/28 resonates with re-entry into light, contact with higher intelligence, and visionary inspiration.

🕯️ 3. Christian and Esoteric Overtones

In the older Catholic martyrology, late October was devoted to prayers for the souls in purgation—symbolically, souls refining themselves before All Saints. Mystics read this as the “Limbus of Illumination”: the state between purification (the tomb) and union (the resurrection). So October 28 becomes the day of discernment—seeing truth stripped of illusion.

🌌 4. Celestial Correlations

The Sun’s position connects with the fixed star Kraz (Beta Corvi), traditionally linked with prophecy and insight through hidden means. Some hermetic calendars call this the “Day of the Raven”, the messenger that travels between worlds—bringing information from shadow to light.

🜂 5. Historical Echoes with Mystical Resonance

312 CE – The Vision of Constantine. On the eve of battle (Oct 27–28 by some reckonings) Constantine reportedly saw the Chi-Rho symbol in the sky with the words In Hoc Signo Vincis—“In this sign, conquer.” Mystically, that vision at Scorpio’s gate marks the union of spiritual authority and temporal power—a turning point of revelation. 1886 – Statue of Liberty dedicated in New York Harbor.  The torch’s symbolism—light emerging from the waters—echoes the numerological 11’s theme: enlightenment rising from the depths.

So, it is possible that Constantine was a Reptilian King. Something to think about.
