What major historical events do you remember?
The Civil Rights Movement (1950s–1960s, USA)
From Rosa Parks’ quiet defiance to Martin Luther King Jr.’s dream, this movement redefined freedom and human dignity not only in America but globally. It proved that compassion, courage, and moral will can dismantle centuries of systemic injustice — a deeply gratifying leap for humankind’s conscience.
I was a teenager when Martin Luther King was murdered and though I was a white girl living in The South of The United States, I recognized through the horror, this was an event that had to take place for the sake of freedom.
Next, I think I cried when the Berlin Wall came down as I wildly watched it on tv.
The Fall of the Berlin Wall (1989)
One night, a concrete wall that had divided families, lives, and ideologies fell. Strangers on both sides embraced. It wasn’t merely the end of the Cold War; it was the symbolic crumbling of fear and the rebirth of unity. Many historians call that night the most joyful event of the 20th century.

Gaining freedom is the most important part of life. Getting freedom from banks is the next important part of finding freedom from within the Matrix
