EGO and Gifts

Share one of the best gifts you’ve ever received.

This is a good time to switch the topic to “ego.” The majority of egos are similar to the majority of IQs, between 90-99%.

On Valentine’s Day, I won an art contest and soon discovered, after great triumphing of my ego, that it was a scammed contest. All winners (the entire contest contestants) pay $100.00 (US) to the contest owners and they publish your art in an exclusive magazine… right… and all who buy it are the ones who gave the $100.00.

No thanks. Sadly, dismayed 😧.

Later, I realized that my ego hurt more than finding out they were scammers. I wanted to give the money despite realizing that no real winners had been juried.

The ego is involved with receiving a gift, whether one likes the type of flowers given, or not.

The question is this… is the ego a bad thing or good? Hmm 🤔, the ego can protect the self, so it’s not entirely bad, as it wants a safe home, and good food for consumption.

The ego wants us to have the highest IQs, and the best of gifts.

My ego loved the horse that I got for my birthday at 8 years old. Her name was “Red.” My ego served me well, and I hope Red loved me too.
