From 1970s to Now

How has technology changed your job?

Beepers tracked down flight attendants. “Hello, this is SJU scheduling . We need you to cover a LGA turn around.”

“Ugh…”

Now, as a nurse, the cellphones get you no matter where you are. In bed, in the shower, on the beach, at a party, in a sanctuary.

There is no hiding. No excuses. It’s either “yes” or “no,” and if “no,” it might be your job. Lies were easier then.

Things have changed.

Art by me.

The Grid’s Got You.”
