Every morning, before dad went to work, he dealt a hand of cards. Solitaire was his game, and if he won, it meant he would have a good day at work, if he lost… troubles. He did this for many years, and his family used a dowsing rod in the deep south when finding water for a well.
My mother’s family had palm readers, and used deviation found within the “name it and claim it’s.” It worked well for her. She mined a lot of money during that time (1970s.)
As for myself, I do both. Today’s card reading was on “the two of pinnacles, and it is precisely appropriate for me.
