Why do you blog?
Why does one sing, dance, explore the mysteries of science, or put words to page?
It is not merely for achievement, nor for recognition, but because it is written in the marrow of our being.
These expressions rise unbidden, like rivers seeking the sea.
To sing is to remember that the universe itself was born in sound.
To dance is to echo the turning of the stars.
To study and inquire is to honor the mind that mirrors the order of creation.
To write is to leave a trail of thought, a constellation for others to follow.
We do these things because they are our gifts—gifts that awaken joy, and through joy, wisdom.
In practicing them, we apprentice ourselves to life itself.
Each note, each step, each question, each word, is a message carried from the heart of being.
And as we listen, we are shaped, refined, and drawn closer to the truth that all of life is art.
My mantra
I sing,
because the universe was born in sound.
I dance,
because the stars themselves are turning.
I explore,
because the mind is a mirror of creation.
I write,
because thought seeks to leave a trail of light.
My art
These are my gifts.
These are my joys.
These are my lessons.
Each act is a message from life itself,
and in listening, I become whole.
