My Near Death Experience Arts and Thoughts

Yeah, I actually see wild animals all the time. I live on Galveston Island in Texas, and there’s a ton of wildlife here. The most common are coyotes — they’re basically protected, so nobody can hunt them, and they roam around like they own the place. You’ll even see them in broad daylight looking for food… which unfortunately can mean the neighborhood cats. It happens more often than people think.

We also get green parrots and all kinds of birds around here. And since we’re right on the Gulf, it’s totally normal to spot sharks, porpoises, and other marine life just off the beach. So yeah, wildlife is definitely part of everyday life here.

And there are wild human beings here who are probably the most dangerous, maybe not this dude, but Galveston has its own criminals. Quite a few actually.
