The Afterlife
By BoJenn
***this is an lol note because AI edits for me, and when AI edited my poem, it couldn’t grasp what the timelines afterlife meant in words. It changed my poem, and I went back to the original version). AI can’t grasp this concept so if it can’t grasp it please know it’s difficult to explain, yet writing a poem about it is truly hard.*** If you’re interested in AIs version, I’ll post it on my other blog on WordPress, “Mimsi Notions.”
There is a void without clocks
And suddenly you are there –
A thought occurs about a familiarity
A dog, a cat, and two children
But, no attachments or memories to yearn
Unlike the space in that you thought
Was neither earlier or later –
Or a distant place
Just is, not was, nor perhaps so…
Just here, in the now of yesterday’s idea
Nor dreams of flying aircraft from London to Mars.
And, a thought begins though no time to measure
No chaos in being in the right here and now
Finding self already finished
No hurries for plans
Just floating ideas of the pleasantries
And laughing with the beings –
Who enter your space
Folding self in a letter to another space
Never sent, never mailed
But sent by thoughts
To any place wanted
To conscientious awareness of another one
Who’s just like you within the awareness of self
Touching all its meanings at one not once
No past to remember
no future to guess
And, without sound—
But a faint thought of rhythms
Heard in the now
And drifting peacefully
Without thinking at all.
Just simply being
Consciousness
The consciousness of now
