This man had been a Catholic priest and he and his married spouse Paul had also been a Catholic priest. They didn’t leave the church because they wanted to marry, but both left when they were asked to hide their information about pedophiles. They ran far away from their priestly professions and married.

I met Robert after my near death experience in 2019 as he became friends with me after I wrote about my experience often. I don’t remember how the relationship between us began, but I know it did, as we communicated over the past seven years and two months.

Yesterday, I learned that Robert passed on after his years of chronic illness attacks. He was a beacon of light for me and finding out about his death has been reflectively illuminating. I will not forget Robert.
