Tesla vs Einstein

My thoughts

Tesla vs. Einstein

Nikola Tesla—brilliant electrical mind,
A visionary once dismissed as “mad,”
An inventor ahead of his time,
Whose light dimmed into obscurity after 1943.

Born Serbian, son of a priest,
A lover of poetry, reciting epics by heart,
Gifted with a near-photographic memory—
A trait he credited to his mother.

He chased the unseen forces of nature,
Electricity—mysterious, powerful, alive.

He worked under Edison, ideas often contested,
Yet forged ahead, creating motors that changed the world—
Power without reliance on fossil fuels.

He explored radiant energy,
Experimented with early X-rays,
A man uncelebrated in his time,
Only truly recognized in the modern age.

Then Albert Einstein—another towering intellect,
Whose theory of relativity reshaped reality itself.

He bent space, time, and understanding,
Leaving a permanent mark on science and philosophy.

Born Jewish, in a world growing hostile,
He fled the shadow of Nazi power.

He warned of atomic potential,
His words helping ignite the Manhattan Project—
Though he did not build the bomb himself.

Nuclear fission—unlocked by others—
Became both breakthrough and burden.

Einstein later reflected with regret,
Fearing what knowledge had enabled
In the hands of the unwise.

Both men studied the forces of energy,
Each in his own way, reshaping the future.

Two geniuses, different paths,
Living in an age on the edge of transformation.

They saw further than most could dream,
Their minds racing ahead of their time.

And sometimes I wonder—
If such brilliance is merely human,
Or something more… divinely inspired.
