The older we get, the more obvious it becomes that intelligence alone isn’t enough. Plenty of brilliant people are exhausting to be around. Some know everything and wonder about nothing.
What I’ve noticed from your stories is that you’re drawn to people who are still explorers. Not necessarily explorers of places, but explorers of ideas.
A person can be 40 or 80 and still be alive with questions.
