The Book That Refused to Die

What are you passionate about?

Zeta

In 1998, I began writing a novel called Zeta.

I thought it would be just another story.

I was wrong.

Over the next twenty-seven years, life changed in ways I never expected.

I became a nurse.

I became a grandmother.

I experienced loss, triumph, heartbreak, and a near-death experience that forever altered how I viewed consciousness and reality.

Yet through all of it, one thing remained.

Zeta.

The story stayed with me.

The characters stayed with me.

Even when I wasn’t writing, they never completely left.

Then something happened that should have ended the journey.

After finally completing the manuscript, my home caught fire.

The book was destroyed.

Years of work vanished.

Most people would have walked away.

I couldn’t.

Because Zeta was no longer just a novel.

It had become part of my life.

At its heart, Zeta Returns asks a simple question:

Can love survive between two beings who were never meant to understand one another?

Zeta is powerful, intelligent, and feared.

Athenia is human, compassionate, and stubborn enough to challenge everything he believes.

Together they discover that understanding another person may be the greatest adventure of all.

Twenty-seven years after I first wrote the opening pages, I am still telling their story.

Perhaps some stories are written.

And perhaps some stories choose their authors.

I will let you decide which one this is.
