Peruvian

What’s the best local dish you’ve ever eaten while traveling?

In the early 1970s, while traveling from the United States to Peru, I stayed at a wonderful hotel where I was treated every day to incredible Peruvian cuisine—and, of course, Pisco Sours. 🍸🇵🇪

Of all the dishes I enjoyed, the two I remember most vividly were the Peruvian Piccata (something similar created with lemon and capers), and the Ceviche. More than fifty years later, I can still remember those flavors.

Absolutely delicious. 🤤

Funny how some of our strongest memories aren’t just of places—they’re of the tastes, aromas, and experiences that take us right back there.
