It is time for Awen to shift gears and allow Bonnie—the woman behind the pen—to speak.
Awen will remain the voice of romance, desire, mischief, and human humor. Bonnie will explore a different intimacy: our relationship with consciousness, death, the unexplained, and intelligences that may exist beyond ordinary human perception.
Bonnie writes about near-death experiences, extraterrestrial encounters, UFOs, and the unanswered questions surrounding human existence. Her interest is not merely theoretical. It is rooted in personal experience and family history.
Her father, E. E. Jennings, was an Air Force veteran and mechanical engineer whose government work involved rockets, satellites, and aerospace technology during the 1950s through the 1980s. Bonnie’s own experiences began after his UFO encounters in the 1960s. Decades later, during her near-death experience, she encountered beings she understood to be extraterrestrial on what she calls “the other side.”
Those experiences did not give her every answer. They gave her better questions.
Who are human beings, really?
Is consciousness produced by the brain—or merely received through it?
What happens when the body dies?
Are extraterrestrial intelligence and the afterlife separate mysteries, or different expressions of the same larger reality?
Bonnie approaches these questions through personal testimony, family history, research, observation, and hypotheses developed across a lifetime. She does not claim that her interpretation must become anyone else’s truth. She offers what she witnessed, what she remembers, and what she has come to understand—through her eyes only.
There will still be humor, because consciousness is far too strange to discuss without occasionally laughing at it. But this is Bonnie’s more serious territory: an honest exploration of what may exist beyond the boundaries of accepted human knowledge.

Both are important but one takes an incredible amount of energy and not always enjoyable.
