What does it mean to be a good person?
For me, it means being honest without being cruel, showing compassion, and respecting someone’s dignity even when we disagree. It means admitting when I’m wrong and doing something to make it right.
I don’t think goodness requires perfection, and being kind doesn’t mean allowing people to walk all over me. I can have boundaries and still have a heart.
How I treat people matters far more than how good I claim to be.
